I was so scared waiting for the tow on the left side of the highway closest to the left lane. The wait was a little longer than I expected but understood there’s always a wait. However, Omar reached out to me as soon as he could. He was so helpful and informative about the issue of my bumper situation that had me stuck in the first place. Took initiative to help me remove a part I could not be able to myself, although his priority was only to tow me home. Thank you Omar for your customer service!

The tow truck guy who came went above and beyond. The temperature was 90+ degrees. When jumpstarting my car failed he towed me to the gas station. I put in gas and it started right up. I forget his name but that was amazing service! Highly recommend this company and wish I could tell you his name. But give that man a raise. Reach out and I'll help you figure out who he is. I was introduced to this company by USAA, after waiting for 17 hours for a variety of other DMV towing companies to show up (<— yes, 17 hours!!!). The other companies promised timeframes, but didn’t show up, and they didn’t answer their phones (and they certainly didn’t call).Once DMV towing received the job from my insurance, they called me, gave me a timeframe, gave me updates, and were faster than expected. Ray (the driver who helped me) was so professional, mindful, and personable… which is likely a challenge for these guys who deal with people in bad moods in the worst of circumstances all the time.I’m telling you, in a business that is seemingly filled with a lack of customer service, these guys MADE MY MONTH. I’m not ashamed to say I hugged Ray when he finished dropping off my car. I mean, you don’t have to hug him, but check out their business ;)

My Porsche Taycan 12v battery went dead and needed a tow out of the garage. The Frunk was locked and the key fob did not work properly. He was able to open the frunk we put the car in neutral and Mike pushed it out he was able to back the tow truck down the hill and pull the car up the drive way.Mike from DMV towing is the person for any tough situation. Incredible experience with these guys. Broke down in the middle of of a street in central DC and had Adrian pull up minutes after and asked if I needed help. He was off the clock but even after he found out that my car was not compatible with his towing method he proceeded to help me out. Adrian went so far as pushing my car out of the street into a parking spot until a tow truck that was able to tow my car arrived. A very kind and knowledgeable man, when needed most. I strongly recommend this group to anyone!

I had gotten a flat tire on GW parkway with no spare headed out of dc on my way to baltimore. Dispatch directed a driver to tow us. once the driver arrived (within 30ish minutes in rush hour), I had asked the driver to take me to a dealership to get a tire and he let me know of a tire shop on the edge of dc that had our tire size in stock (the dealership needed to order one). The tire shop ended up saving us money compared to what the dealership wanted and i was back on the road within less than 30 minutes of getting to the shop. Not only do they provide great service but have local knowledgeable drivers for the area that they serve.

During the rain storm this morning I had no other choice but to drive through what seemed like a river of water on Columbia Pike in order to get to work. After driving through the water, my check engine light started to blink and my car started to shake pretty violently. Luckily my job was only a few minutes up the road and I was able to make it to the parking lot safely. In a panic, I decided to call DMV Towing and Roadside because of the excellent reviews as I am fairly new to this area and let me tell you, the reviews did not disappoint. Omar was very helpful and professional and took the time to take a look at my car and even drove it around the block with me to make sure that everything was running smoothly before leaving. Ultimately, he saved me the $80.00 that I would have paid for the tow and the $130.00 that I was going to pay to have a diagnostic test done. When he took a look, the light was no longer flashing and the car was no longer shaking. He let me know that often times this happens and it is able to dry out on its own. Thanks to Omar, I saved a lot of money today and he really eased my panic. I now have a local towing company that I can trust and I will absolutely recommend to all of my friends and family in the area.

The tow truck driver arrived on time and rapidly replaced my tire with my spare. The entire encounter took 15 minutes flat, then I was on my way to Mr. Tire for a permanent tire replacement. Excellent work!

Was stuck on the overpass between Loops 495 and 395 toward Washington D.C. with a dead transmission, and DMV was the ONLY one who managed to get to me. Two other tow companies had screwed it up in the process, leaving me stuck on the shoulder right next to the busy traffic for over 4 hours.As soon as my insurance company had contacted them, the driver had called me and arrived faster than even the predicted time for the other towing companies. On top of that, he was nice enough to give me a ride back into Arlington, even though he had no contractual requirement to!Honestly, if all DMV drivers are like this guy, then ALL of them are not paid NEARLY enough for what they do. THANK YOU DMV TOWING!

Progressive Insurance sent them to my rescue with intentions of towing my vehicle to the closest Hyundai dealership because my car wouldn't start. The first doofus Progressive sent attempted to jump my battery and after 1 single attempt tells me that I probably needed a new alternator or starter and drove away like a bat out of hell.Nevertheless Basim from DMV Towing & Roadside exceeded my expectations. I explained to him what happened with the person prior and he recommended attempting to jump the battery one more time before we towed my vehicle. My car started right up! He charged my battery and saved me the headache of getting a loaner vehicle and spending hundreds of dollars unnecessarily at the dealership. On top of that, he gave me a business card with his personal # and told me to call him if my car doesn't start tomorrow; offering to come to me with a replacement battery. Now that's what I call service!!! I could not have been more satisfied.

I called this place to inquire about having my flat tire serviced and to see how much it costs as other businesses charge you a lot and some have bad service. They quoted me good price around $50 and with fast eta. A guy named Zed called me within minutes and told me it'll take him 20-30 min to reach my location, I didn't believe him as it sounded too good to be true. Well 25 min. Came about and Zed pulled up in my drive way in a old car but seemed very nice and professional. He assured me that everything will be fine and complimented on my beauty as I find that refreshing, I asked if he needed help and he said Ma'am all I want you to do is relax and look pretty. That was the nicest statement I ever heard.He had all tool necessary to perform the job and he even had a Milwaukee impact gun, he looked like a pro. I sat down for about 5 min. And he knocked on my window and said "Kelly it is all done". Please drive carefully. I haven't came across anyone nicer than Zed. I am very happy and hope you keep this nice gentleman on your fleet. He's an awesome tech. I got 5 star service and I'm delighted.

I hit a pothole in Clarendon and realized I had no spare, nor roadside assistance. I had no one to call! Omar arrived quickly and towed me to a shop in DC. My car stalled on me in the middle of the road. I could not get a hold of my own insurance company road side assistance so I called a random number online (because it was readily available). In no time, Omar came for help. He did everything in the kindest and most peofessional way. I did not have to worry about a single thing literally. He also went above and beyond by not only towing the car but also checking what is the problem and how we can fix it. He helped me know the type of oil needed, and waited until he ensured the car is working. In my whole lifetime, I have never encoutered someone who was as helpful as him. I never imagimed road assistance can be so seamless. If you run into any problem, call Omar immediately and you will be beyond satisfied.
